This website is dedicated to the memory of Bob Winter, without whom this rescue and sanctuary would not have been possible. Bob's memory will live on as we continue to help animals in need.

Pecan Creek Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (PCARS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We are dedicated to giving a safe haven to animals who have not been able to find a forever home due to special needs or other circumstances which have left them unadopted. PCARS is located in Central Texas roughly equidistant between Austin, Houston and San Antonio. We care for most domestic species of animals.
