Denise has been a rescuer of animals her entire life. Growing up on a farm in Ohio, cats, dogs and other creatures seemed to find their way to Denise.
After Denise and Bob married and moved to the farm, Denise's lifelong dream of a safe place for abandoned and unwanted animals became a reality.
Denise was on the Board of Directors for the local animal shelter for years and continues to be a volunteer for the shelter.
Days at the farm begin and end with caring for and spending time with the animals.
